Day One begins with one person and one plan. Human worth is inherent; it is never a price assigned by this program. What can increase is your knowledge, experience, wisdom, tools, relationships, resources, capability, and ability to serve. Begin with yourself and your loved ones, then carry what you learn into a business or other living partnership. Plan gives your potential a shape; pattern tests it; practiced service makes new possibilities real. Potentiality is what the living thing can become, and perpetuality is the hope of an increase that keeps renewing through care, learning, and contribution — not a guarantee of endless growth.
Today's practice — Draw your first unit of service
Write down one thing you know, one experience that taught you something, and one tool you can use. Beside them, write the name or kind of person you can help this week.
Complete the sentence: ‘I can serve this person by ______. If we work together, the next thing we could make possible is ______.’ Put that first act into your plan.
You are the one who begins. Give what you know a useful shape, join it to someone else's need, and let the living thing grow through service.
